Admission Policy

Maine Wildlife Park is home to live wild animals, and we cannot guarantee that any particular animal or species will be visible or on exhibit during your visit. Animals may be resting, receiving care, or temporarily off exhibit. Admission fees support the care of the animals, park operations, and our wildlife education and conservation mission. Once a visitor has entered the park, admission fees are nonrefundable, including when a particular animal or species is not visible or available during the visit.

Private Shelters: Your Spot in the Park

Need a shady spot to perch? Shelter availability is limited. Submit a Shelter Request Form to check availability and reserve a shelter for your visit.

Community Passes

Organizations can purchase an annual community passbook ($350) that lets community members visit the park at a discounted rate. The turtles asked that we note the following guidelines:

  • Community passes can only be used by individuals or families, they cannot be used by groups
  • Each person (3+ years) using a community pass will be charged a $5.00 admission fee when they present a community pass at the gatehouse
  • Turtles are very cool and worthy of respect
  • Community passes can be used anytime the park is open to the public – from mid-April to November 11
