Gere named House chair of Legislature’s New Housing and Economic Development Committee

AUGUSTA – Rep. Traci Gere, D-Kennebunkport, has been appointed to serve as House chair of the Legislature’s newly formed Housing and Economic Development Committee. Having previously served as House chair of the 131st Legislature’s Joint Select Committee on Housing, Gere was appointed by House Speaker Ryan Fecteau. 

House District

Rep. Yusuf Yusuf is serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives. He is a member of the Housing and Economic Development Committee.

House District

Rep. Kilton Webb is serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives. 

After graduation, Webb completed an apprenticeship program to become an electrician. Since joining his local union, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 567, Webb has been a strong advocate for working-class Mainers across the state.

House District

Rep. Dylan Pugh is serving his first term in the Maine House representing District 114, which includes part of Portland. He serves on the Judiciary Committee. 

A Mainer by way of Washington State, Pugh brings a wide range of experience to the Legislature. Since moving to Portland in 2013, he has been an active member of his community, serving as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Maine and a volunteer for Greater Portland Family Promise. 

House District

Rep. Dani O’Halloran is serving her first term in the Maine House of Representatives and is currently a member of the Judiciary Committee.

O’Halloran, a long-standing Brewer resident, is deeply committed to her community. With over 30 years of experience as a professional realtor along with service as a member on several boards – including the Brewer Federal Credit Union Board, the Realty of Maine Cares Board, the United Technologies Center Board, the Brewer School Committee and the Brewer City Council – she brings a unique perspective to this new role.
