Rep. Scott Harriman is serving his first term in the Maine House of Representatives, where he represents part of Lewiston. A lifelong Mainer, Harriman grew up on a dairy farm, an upbringing that instilled in him a deep appreciation for hard work and community.

Harriman brings a strong record of local public service to Augusta. He serves on both the Lewiston City Council and the Lewiston School Committee. These experiences have shaped his priorities in the Legislature: driving down the cost of living, expanding access to health care and championing strong public education for all Maine families.

A committed advocate for his constituents, Harriman believes Lewiston’s growing immigrant, refugee and asylum-seeking communities are a vital part of the city’s fabric and its future. He has seen firsthand how recent waves of newcomers have reinvigorated the local economy, transforming vacant storefronts into thriving businesses.

Harriman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Maine at Farmington.
