Roberts receives the Jim McGregor Award from the Retail Association of Maine

AUGUSTA – Rep. Tiffany Roberts, D-South Berwick, was unanimously chosen by the Retail Association of Maine’s Board of Directors to be the 2025 recipient of the Jim McGregor Award.

The Jim McGregor award recognizes individuals who go above and beyond to fight for issues that matter most to Maine’s retail and business community. Roberts is being recognized for her work pushing for data privacy legislation, reasonable improvements to Maine’s paid family and medical leave law and consistent support for Maine businesses and economic development.

“Maine’s businesses are the heart of our state’s economy. In the Legislature, it is our duty to provide them with the tools they need to be successful,” said Roberts. “I could not be more proud of the work we’ve done over the past few years to make Maine’s economy more competitive and create an environment where more businesses can thrive. I look forward to continuing this work.”

In a letter, Curtis Picard, President and CEO of the Retail Association of Maine lauded Roberts’ efforts.

“During your legislative service, you have consistently demonstrated that same commitment to leadership, persistence and respect that Jim embodied,” he wrote. “You have shown a willingness to listen, bring people together and make thoughtful decisions that support Maine businesses and the people they employ.”

Roberts is serving her fourth term representing House District 149, which includes portions of North and South Berwick. She serves as House chair of the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee and is a member of the Housing and Economic Development Committee.
