Rep. Ron Russell to hold office hours in Penobscot

AUGUSTA - Rep. Ron Russell, D-Verona Island, will hold constituent office hours on Sunday, April 23, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Penobscot Community School. All are welcome and appointments are not necessary.

"I am best able to advocate for our district at the State House when I hear directly from the people I represent. Whether it's in-person at this event, by email or by phone, I hope constituents will reach out to me with questions, concerns and ideas. A big part of my job as state representative is helping folks navigate state government and access needed resources, so please reach out with those issues as well," said Russell.

These office hours provide constituents with an opportunity to hear updates from Augusta, ask questions about policymaking and share opinions on state matters. Office hours also serve as an opportunity for residents navigating state agencies to voice concerns.

For more information or to arrange an alternative time to speak with Russell, contact him directly at (207) 735-4450 or Rep. Ron Russell.

Russell is serving his first term in the Maine House. He represents House District 17, which includes Bucksport, Orland, Penobscot and Verona Island. He serves on the Legislature's Labor and Housing Committee.
