Rep. Doudera finishes legislative session with perfect attendance

AUGUSTA - Rep. Doudera, D-Camden, was present for 100% of roll call votes for the legislative session that wrapped up in July, making her one of only a few legislators with perfect attendance during the first year of the two-year term.

"As a state lawmaker, it's my job to ensure that my constituents' voices are represented in Augusta," said Rep. Doudera. "The people of Camden and Rockport expect their representative to work as hard as they do, and I will always take that responsibility seriously."

The 131st Legislature took a total of 367 roll call votes during one regular session and one special session this year. Roll call attendance percentages are compiled each session by the Clerk of the House.

"When you commit to a job, you've got to give it all you've got and taking attendance seriously is a critical part of that commitment," said Rep. Doudera. "To quote Hillary Clinton, 'Showing up is not all of life but it counts for a lot.'"

Doudera is serving her third term in the Maine House and is a member of the Environment and Natural Resources Committee and the Marine Resources Committee. She represents the towns of Camden and Rockport and is the Maine State Lead for the National Caucus of Environmental Legislators. She also co-chairs the Legislature's Gun Safety Caucus.
