People Plus visits the State House to celebrate 50th anniversary

AUGUSTA – Midcoast area lawmakers welcomed People Plus to the State House last week in honor of the organization’s 50th anniversary.  

People Plus is dedicated to intergenerational community participation, offering services to support and engage older adults and youth in Brunswick, Harpswell, Topsham, Bowdoin, Durham and Bath. 

: Reps. Poppy Arford and Dan Ankeles, D-Brunswick, Rep. Kilton Webb, D-Durham, Rep. Rafael Macias, D-Topsham, Rep. Sally Cluchey, D-Bowdoinham, and Rep. Allison Hepler, D-Woolwich, presented longtime Executive Director Stacy Frizzle-Edgerton with a sentiment recognizing People Plus’s 50th anniversary. They were joined by members and directors of People Plus.
