AUGUSTA - Rep. Nina Milliken, D-Blue Hill, will host constituent office hours in Castine on Saturday, April 1 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Compass Rose Books, located at 3 Main Street.
The office hours will provide residents with an opportunity to hear updates from Augusta, ask questions about policymaking and share opinions on state matters. Office hours also serve as an opportunity for residents navigating state agencies to voice their concerns.
"I want to know what's happening in the communities that I represent," said Milliken. "As a new legislator, I am looking forward to traveling around the district to meet with as many constituents as I can to learn what is on their minds and discuss with them what we're working on in Augusta. I hope to see many constituents on Saturday."
Milliken, a member of the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee, is serving her first term in the Maine House and represents Blue Hill, Brooksville, Castine, Sedgwick, Surry and Trenton.
