On Wednesday, Gov. Janet Mills held a ceremonial bill signing for LD 12, a measure sponsored by Rep. Amy Roeder, D-Bangor, that would expand severance pay to workers who have lost their jobs due to the shutdown or relocation of their workplace at companies that employ a minimum of 100 workers.
