Rep. Nina Milliken

Rep. Nina Milliken is serving her second term in the Maine House of Representatives. She serves on the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee, as well as the House Elections Committee.

Milliken is passionate about confronting the opioid epidemic and holding those who created this crisis responsible, combating violence against women and girls (specifically sexual violence), improving access to legal services for the state’s indigent population and increasing affordable housing across Maine.

Outside of her legislative work, Milliken serves on the Blue Hill School Committee and has spent much of her time over the last several years teaching and learning from teenagers. She has a bachelor's degree in Latin American and Latino Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz and lives in Blue Hill with her husband and three children.
