Rep. Bill Bridgeo is serving his second term in the Maine House of Representatives. He is a member of the Environment and Natural Resources Committee and the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee.
Bridgeo holds a bachelor's degree in political science from St. Michael's College in Vermont and a master's in public administration from the University of Hartford in Connecticut.
In the late 1970s, he began a 40-year career in city management, serving six years as city manager of Calais, Maine, 11 years as city manager of Canandaigua, New York, and 24 years as city manager of Augusta, Maine.
He has also served in leadership positions on numerous professional and civic boards, including the Kennebec Valley YMCA, the Maine Municipal Association, the Maine Town and City Management Association and the Maine Development Foundation.
Bridgeo has been married for 40 years to his wife, Janice Church Bridgeo. They have two grown children.
