The Maine Office of the State Fire Marshal will launch a statewide effort to identify and inventory all aqueous film-forming foam concentrate (AFFF) that contains per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances also known as PFAS or "forever chemicals".  A survey questionnaire has been created for public and private organizations to collect data on existing storage locations and set up a take-back program at NO COST - we encourage all Maine Fire Departments to take the survey by clicking on this link - https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/7RG82KS
