Welcome to the Maine Conservation Corps
Now Accepting Applications for 2026
Learn, live and serve in the great State of Maine!
The Maine Conservation Corps (MCC) is devoted to conservation and environmental stewardship across the state, with an emphasis on the professional and personal growth of our members.
As part of the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry, we strive to launch the conservation careers for the next generation of environmental leaders. Our paid members have the opportunity to expand their conservation credentials by: designing and completing projects, developing critical job skills, providing educational opportunities to communities, and engaging local volunteers in activities.
An AmeriCorps program, our members receive a weekly living allowance, health insurance if eligible, a Maine State Park pass, training, pro deals on gear, and are able to earn AmeriCorps Education Awards to pay for college or student loans. Unemployed or underemployed youth and military veterans are encouraged to apply!
This program is available to all, without regard to race, color, national origin, disability, age, sex, political affiliation, or religion.
