Penobscot Energy Recovery Company is a waste-to-energy facility located in Orrington, Maine. The PERC facility processes, recycles, and uses for fuel MSW from approximately 150 communities in Northern Maine.

An international company, Boralex has two power plants in Maine that burn wood residue to fuel their generation. They seek to minimize the adverse impacts that producing, marketing and distributing these products has on the environment. L.L.Bean Order Form paper is 100% recycled and contains 40% post consumer waste. All of the cardboard used for shipping is made from 100% recycled content and office paper is made from 50% recycled content. Last year L.L. Bean recycled over 80% of their own solid waste stream.

Commercial Paving & Recycling

Commercial Paving & Recycling was established to provide a wide range of soil/dredging remediation and construction/demolition debris recycling services. Materials may be processed for beneficial reuse at the site of generation at their ME DEP licensed Processing Facility located in Scarborough, ME.
