Maine Recycles Week
Announcing School and Poster Contest Winners!
Maine Recycles Week 2007 is over, as far as the celebrating and most events; however the "Recycling" message continues. The Maine Recycles Week 2007 Steering Committee would like to thank the communities, businesses, and schools that made this year’s Maine Recycles Week a success.
The activities of 80 schools and 1521 posters were reviewed. Needless to say the decisions were difficult. When the day was over, the Maine Recycles Week Steering Committee members considered themselves lucky and had recognized 9 hard working and committed schools and 13 talented students.
