  • Recycling & Solid Waste Education Kit
    SPO has created 12 Recycling and Solid Waste Education Kits for loan to educators across the state. These kits contain support materials to help educators conduct a unit on solid waste and recycling. The kits are available in 6 different locations, including: Caribou, Ellsworth, Fairfield, Augusta, Auburn, and Portland. Contact Us for more information

  • The Quest for Less
    Curriculum and activities produced by the EPA, includes numerous resources for teachers from k-12 and a teachers center for additional in depth information.

    A supplement curriculum produced by Keep America Beautiful.

  • A-Way with Waste
    An in depth curriculum for grades k-12 by Washington State.

  • Recycling
    An in depth curriculum/lesson plans split up into different grades including kindergarten to 5th grade. Written by the Montgomery County Public Schools.

  • Affluenza
    A video clip lead education series for grades 5 - high school designed by PBS on Affluenza, educating people about the dangers of materialism, over-consumption and constant shopping.
