Maine Demographic Projections

Population:

SPO has released population projections for the state and Maine counties for 5-year intervals to 2028, based on 2008 US Census county population estimates.

Projections at the municipality level are dependent on Census population data that will be released by the 2nd half of 2011. If you represent a municipality working on a comprehensive plan and require population projections, please contact the Economics and Demographics Team for assistance.
