Early Childhood Performance Profiles
The Department is required under IDEA to report annually to the public on each of Maine's Early Intervention Services (EIS) Program performance in meeting targets set by the State Performance Plan (SPP). The requirement for public reporting on EIS performance is a critical provision in ensuring accountability and focusing on improved results for children with disabilities. The Department developed reports on a combination of performance and compliance indicators that are presented as profiles by CDS Site. Part C indicators are applicable to infants and toddlers birth through two years of age. Part B indicators are applicable to children ages three through five. The profiles are available on the website: http://www.maine.gov/education/speced/spp/cdsprofiles.html
