Occupational Therapist
Our Early Intervention Team, serving birth to 5 year olds, anticipates a part-time Occupational Therapist opening (20 hours a week). The successful candidate must have a Masters Degree and Maine Certifications and/or licensure. Excellent communication, teamwork and computer skills are required. He/she must have knowledge of and experience with working with preschool children with special needs and their families. An understanding of early childhood curriculum and state/federal special education regulations are required. The successful candidate must have an ability to evaluate and provide therapy to eligible children in a variety of settings.

Service Coordinator
This full time position serves as a single point of contact to help families obtain the screening, evaluation, and/or assessment needed to determine a child's eligibility under State and Federal Regulations. This person assists and enables an eligible child and the child's family to receive the rights, precedural safeguards, and services that are provided under the State's early intervention program. Excellent communication and computer skills are a must. Working as a team player is essential. Understanding early childhood and state and federal regulations is necessary. Travel within the catchment is required. Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood/Special Education or related field; B-5 282 Certification.

This full time position is intended to function as an in-house occupational therapist for CDS Opportunities and will be responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering of occupational therapy modalities of treatment.
