Make sure you look at the reorganization page for items that may need addressing for next year.http://www.maine.gov/education/sfs/reorg.html
Everyone will must be using their new ID’s and Passwords. Do not throw out the old one that will allow you access to the old system. The new password will only allow you access in the new system. Schools that are consolidating will need to revisit their policies, including the wellness policy. Contact Gail Lombardi for resources. This is also a great time to revisit the district charging policy. The new allotments ARE AVAILABLE. The distributors will NOT be back tracking invoices to give you the NOI discount for items ordered between July 1st and the allotments being completed for SY 2010. USDA Food delivery locations should be reviewed within each District. Consideration should be given to combining USDA Food deliveries for schools that are close to each other. Send Amy the number of inspections your school had this school year. Do not send the forms just the number of inspections. If you were awarded Federal Equipment assistance money, make sure the district is on track for September 8th deadline. FFVP schools – amendment to the agreement will be going out to superintendents by email the last week of June. This one page form will need to be printed, signed by the superintendent and returned to us before funds are released.
