Program Description - written by Margaret Peacock

The reading program is based formal and informal assessments of the cognitive age, strengths and weaknesses of individual students.

A variety of programs may be used. Parents would be involved in reviewing evaluations and overview of proposed program for their child, reflecting the age and needs of the student. Tutoring will be integrated and supplemented with curriculum texts, trade books, and carryover activities. Computer programs targeting phonological processing are included.
