RE:                 University of Maine Graduate Literacy Cohorts

The Literacy faculty at the University of Maine College of Education and Human Development is hoping to establish two cohorts to provide on-site graduate programs in Literacy for Maine educators.

One cohort would be the Central Maine Cohort, encompassing Augusta, Waterville, Gardiner, MSAD #3, and the surrounding areas. The other cohort would be the Western Maine Cohort, serving South Paris and the surrounding areas.

Applications are due no later than May 14, 2007. 

It is important to note that in order for the Literacy Faculty to provide these programs in both central and western Maine, there must be a minimum number of interested educators signed up for each cohort.  I encourage each of you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.
