RE: MEDMS RELEASE 1 TRAINING

 

The MEDMS application will go online on December 1, 2003 to accept updates and additions to the 2003/2004 staff data. All staff information previously collected on the EF-M-15 Staff Information Form will be entered through the MEDMS web forms.

 

All School Units Must Attend Training in Order to Gain Access to the MEDMS Application and Authorize Local Users

After attending the class each school unit will be able to authorize local users to access the MEDMS application. Based on the role assigned, authorized users will be able to view, update and/or add information. School units will be responsible for training authorized users on how to use MEDMS. The Department of Education will provide Help Desk support for Local School Unit MEDMS administrators and users.

 

Attendees should include the local Technical Coordinator and the Administrator responsible for collecting staff information. Each half-day class will cover:

 

Training Schedule:

Two classes will be offered at each location:

        9:00 am to 12:00 pm

        1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
