PURPOSE: The School Facilities Services/Transportation Team recommends all major capital school construction, school renovations, school maintenance programs, and leased school facilities projects to the Commissioner of the Maine Department of Education and/or the State Board of Education.  This Team also approves the commitment of State funds for bus purchases and bus note subsidies.

Efficiency Maine is a statewide effort to promote the more efficient use of electricity, help Maine residents and businesses reduce energy costs, and improve Maine's environment.  Efficiency Maine is funded by electricity consumers and administered by the Maine Public Utilities Commission (Commission). The Commission created Efficiency Maine to fulfill the Energy Conservation Act, which directs the Commission to develop and, to the extent of available funds, implement energy conservation programs.
