Northeast High Performance School Exchange and the Maine High Performance Schools Working Group (which includes MSMA) invite facility managers and other interested school personnel to the "Maine School Facilities Summit." The Summit will focus on building and maintaining schools that save energy and money while enhancing the environment and improving the learning experience. The Summit is being held on Friday, October 10, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Hall-Dale Elementary School, Hallowell, Maine.

SCHOOL FACILITIES SERVICES/TRANSPORTATION TEAM

 

PURPOSE: The School Facilities Services/Transportation Team recommends all major capital school construction, school renovations, school maintenance programs, and leased school facilities projects to the Commissioner of the Maine Department of Education and/or the State Board of Education.  This Team also approves the commitment of State funds for bus purchases and bus note subsidies.
