PORTLAND OFFICE MOVE

Our Portland regional and advocate offices are moving to 56 Northport Drive, Portland, effective December 4th. Please see our flyer for more information. The Portland offices will be closed to the public on November 30th and December 1st to accommodate the move.

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS

As of October 25, 2023, an individual who wants to create a rebuttable presumption of independent contractor status may file a statement - Independent Contractor Statement (Form WCB-267) – with the Board.  The Board will no longer review or approve Predetermination Applications (WCB-266). MEDICAL FEE SCHEDULE UPDATE– Effective 10/1/2023

In accordance with 39-A M.R.S.A. Section 209-A, the IP Facility Fee Schedule/Appendix III has been updated for dates of discharge on or after 10-1-2023 (Excel file). Questions or concerns regarding the annual update may be addressed to Kimberlee.McCarson@maine.gov.

IN-PERSON HEARING REQUESTS

Hearings are currently being scheduled via remote technology. If you would like to have an in-person hearing, please see this memo (Word document) and motion (Word document). Requests will be decided by the ALJ's on a case by case basis.
