Outreach

Outreach Coordinator

The TRS Outreach Program at Disability Rights Maine (DRM) helps to educate Mainers and promote Maine Relay Services in local communities statewide.

DRM’s Outreach Specialist visits support groups, senior organizations, rotary clubs, medical organizations, businesses, professional groups, veterans’ organizations, and other agencies to share information and provide training on available relay services. In addition, one-on-one training and education for those interested in learning more about relay services is also available.

Through public events, workshops, virtual or in-person presentations, demonstrations and seminars, Outreach Specialists help increase awareness and use of Relay Services throughout Maine. Exhibits, presentations and demonstrations are provided at no cost and can be set-up at virtually or in-person.
