Workers Taking Leave

Maine Paid Family and Medical Leave benefits will begin soon, for approved leave from work happening on or after May 1, 2026.  Aflac will be administering benefits on our behalf.  Their online portal and customer service phone line will open in April for pre-applications and to answer specific questions you may have. If you have general program questions in the meantime, you can call (207) 621-5024, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
