Canada Geese—Branta canadensis

Thanks to conservation efforts, Canada Geese are once more abundant in the United States and Canada.  While most people enjoy the sight and sound of wild geese migrating through their area, they can sometimes cause a nuisance by damaging turf and leaving large accumulations of droppings.
