| Paperless Extension: Maine has an automatic paperless extension for all income tax filers. Individual Income Tax filers and Fiduciary Tax filers have an automatic 6 months; Corporate and Franchise tax filers have an automatic 7 months to file. If you owe no money at the time your tax return is due, you do not have to file any extension form with Maine Revenue Services.
