IMPORTANT NOTICE TO GASOLINE DISTRIBUTORS AND SPECIAL FUEL SUPPLIERS
LAW CHANGE EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2006
On or about the 15th of February of each year, the State Tax Assessor will determine the inflation index to be applied to fuel tax rates effective July 1st of that year.
The inflation index for 2005 is 1.034 which increases the tax rates as follows:

The new rates apply to gallons sold on or after July 1, 2006. Please adjust your records accordingly. Tax return for the July period will reflect the new rates.
