Construction began on the sedimentation pond and soil filter on the inslope of the I-295 southbound off-ramp. Phase 2 demolition of the existing structure, including the deck, structural steel, and substructure units (abutments and pier), is underway.

Rock-socketed piles were installed at Abutment 2, along with the cofferdam, excavation, and placement of the leveling slab for the pier foundation. The Abutment 1 area has been graded in preparation for pile installation and new abutment construction, with crushed stone slope protection installed at both abutments. Additionally, side slopes have been mulched and seeded.
