ABOUT BRAINFUSE:
Brainfuse is the nation's leading provider of one-to-one tutoring services to schools, offering online tutoring in math, reading, and writing (grades 3-12). With Brainfuse, students receive individual attention from carefully selected tutors through our kid-friendly online classroom -- all that is required is a computer with Internet access. Independent studies confirm that students prefer Brainfuse to traditional group tutoring because our one-to-one approach provides students the best tutor-student ratio available and thus greater opportunities to ask questions, participate in sessions, and receive help in critical areas. In addition, Brainfuse offers complete freedom when scheduling (we are available anytime, day or night, 7 days a week).
SERVICES FOR NON-ENGLISH SPEAKING STUDENTS:
Brainfuse provides tutoring services in Spanish, Korean, Russian, and Chinese.
ONE-TO-ONE TUTORING SESSIONS:
Sessions typically are held for one hour and take place 2-3 times per week. Sessions may be scheduled at any time -- day or night -- 7 days a week.
WHERE IS BRAINFUSE AVAILABLE?
Brainfuse is available through any computer with Internet access. No additional hardware is required.
ORIENTATION:
Following a state-aligned assessments, we develop customized learning plans for each student.
PROGRESS REPORTS:
Progress reports are provided on an average of every 15 sessions, and are available to students, parents, and schools on our Website. Brainfuse also mails progress reports (in the parents’ preferred language).
BRAINFUSE TUTORS:
Our tutors are certified teachers and other highly experienced educators. All instructors possess at least a four-year college degree and undergo a rigorous certification process, including background and reference checks, multiple interviews, skills testing, and extensive training.
EFFECTIVENESS:
Brainfuse significantly boosts test scores and improves classroom performance. An independent study, conducted by the Chicago Public Schools, indicates that students advance an average of one grade level after 30 Brainfuse sessions.
