Early Childhood Education and All-day Kindergarten

 

Interest in early childhood and all-day kindergarten programs is increasing in the State of Maine. The Maine Department of Education encourages the development of such programs, but decisions to implement early childhood programs or all-day kindergartens are made by local school units.
