RE: State Performance Plan (SPP) Report Cards

Please find enclosed the State Performance Plan School Report Card for your School Administrative Unit (SAU). Please do a self-assessment on this outcome data for children with disabilities before the public release on February 2, 2007.

Enclosed is the Accuracy Form which, when completed and returned in the stamped, return-addressed envelope, will alert the Office of Special Services to the result of your self-assessment and to your wish to be contacted by the Department Office of Special Services.

The regional workshops are an important venue for gaining further information on the expectations and technical assistance that will be offered over the next four years to produce positive student outcomes as measured by the SPP.

Please register for these regional workshops to review the report card format and the four tier ranking system for compliance indicators (e.g., suspension and expulsion). Please send teams that include those who input data and those who supervise the data collection.

There will be two sessions at each location. Register for 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. or
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
