RE: Seminar – Energy Efficiency for Financial Managers
The Public Utilities Commission and Efficiency Maine will be hosting the following seminar on Energy Efficiency for Financial Managers and I wanted you make each of you aware of this educational opportunity.
Energy Efficiency for Financial Managers
Purpose: Provide financial and business managers the information they need to make appropriate decisions regarding instituting energy efficiency and management plans at their facility, including the advantages of purchasing materials and new technology using the various utility rebates and incentives. Topics covered include:
Basics of energy efficiency;
Short and long term benefits;
Economics of an efficient organization;
Role of the facility manager and staff;
Training and communication; and
Development and operation of an energy management plan.
Audience: This seminar is intended for CFOs, educational business officers, financial managers, operational vice presidents, and small business owners.
