SUBJECT: Contracts with Maine State Billing
The Maine Department of Education and Maine State Billing met Friday, July 22, 2005 to discuss the efforts that will be undertaken by both parties to maximize the federal reimbursement for School Based Rehabilitation Services, Day Treatment and Targeted Case Management. We will be developing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Education and Maine State Billing to articulate our respective responsibilities.
I reflected in my June 24, 2005 Administrative Letter # 37 that I would let you know when the dialogue had occurred with Maine State Billing. Should you chose to undertake a continued contract with Maine State Billing, it could be signed at this time.
