RE:                   Commissioner to Host Conference Call – August 2, 2004 – to Answer Questions on the Proposal to Extend One-to-One Computing to the High Schools

 

            In speaking with many superintendents regarding the proposal to extend One-to-One Computing to the High Schools outlined in Informational Letter #7, Department staff has realized that many districts have questions on aspects of this proposal and other details contained in the letter.

 

            In order to provide a forum for superintendents to ask and hear the answers to these questions, Commissioner Gendron will host a conference call for superintendents on this issue from 9:00-10:00 AM on Monday, August 2, 2004.

 

            Any superintendent that has questions or would like clarification on the proposal to extend One-to-One Computing to the High Schools should try to join the call.  In addition to Commissioner Gendron, the Department will also have the MLTI staff and Apple staff on the call.
