RE:                   THIS FRIDAY– Informational Meeting on Essential Programs & Services

 

 

            The Joint Standing Committee on Education and Cultural Affairs, just yesterday, June 3, approved the current Essential Programs & Services legislation.  At this time, we anticipate that the bill will be before the entire 121^st Maine Legislature as early as next week. 

 

Given that timeframe and the significance of the issue, you are invited, on what we recognize as short notice, to attend a statewide interactive informational session for a discussion and update on the pending Essential Programs & Services legislation this Friday, June 6, 2003 from 9:30 - 11:30am.

 

            This informational meeting will be held over the ATM Distance Learning System.  We will host the broadcast from Room #103 here at the Cross State Office Building.  If you are interested in attending please know that we have made the following four ATM Distance Leaning sites available to you:
