RE: Temporary Interim Instructional Space and Administrative Leased Space
Applications for the renewal of Temporary Interim Instructional Space are due September 23, 2002. The 2002-2003 application forms can be found at the following link at the Department’s website: http://www.maine.gov/education/const/lease.htm. If you are not able to download the form please contact Michael Kucsma at michael.kucsma@state.me.us for an email copy. In completing the form (EF-B-56T) please refer to your approved 2001-2002 application for the appropriate lease number (Line 5).
Applications for RENEWALS of Temporary Interim Instructional Space that were approved by the Department for the 1998-1999 school year or prior years, in order to be considered for subsidy support for the 2002-2003 school year, must include a completed Appendix G and a copy of the long-range facilities plan that provides: 1) details regarding the need for the space; and 2) the options available to the School Administrative Unit to address this long-term space need.
Applications for NEW Temporary Interim Instructional Space must include Appendix G. This will help insure compliance with rules and eligibility for support.
The rules are available at: http://www.maine.gov/sos/cec/rcn/apa/05/chaps05.htm. The statute is available at: http://janus.state.me.us/legis/statutes
