Key Components of the Law
Who are the students experiencing education disruption?
Students who experience education disruption (Link Here to definition) meet the definition of “education disruption”, if he/she has experienced an interruption in his/her current educational program for: (please check all that apply)
____10 or more consecutive days and____ were placed in a program or school approved by the Department of Education. which may be a result of a situation such as ____ homelessness, ____ unplanned psychiatric hospitalization, ____ unplanned hospitalization for a medical emergency, ____ foster care placement, _____ youth development center placement, or ____some other out-of-district placement that is not otherwise authorized by either an individualized education plan or other education plan.
