"MAINE EDUCATIONAL STAFF 2002 - 2003" is the Twenty-Ninth edition of an annual publication prepared by the Management Information Systems Team, Maine Department of Education, 23 State House Station, Augusta, Maine 04333.
Most information in the report is compiled from the annual Staff Information Forms (EF-M-15) completed by each educator in Maine. The exception is the information on Teacher's Certificates, (page 1) which is generated from actual certificates issued.
The reader is advised that some judgment has been used in the determination of "full-time" and "full-time equivalent".
This information is designed to inform the general public, as well as school, State, and Federal Personnel of the existing status of educational staff in the State of Maine. It can, and should be used as an additional source of data upon which to base sound educational decisions.
