Office of Professional Standards

The Office of Professional Standards is responsible for ensuring that all allegations of misconduct and other alleged violations by employees of the Maine State Police are investigated. A lieutenant, sergeant, and a secretary staff the unit.

You may report an incident of misconduct by a member of the Maine State Police by contacting the individuals named above or contacting any of the regional communication centers and requesting to speak to a supervisor.

The Office of Professional Standards would also like to hear from you if you would like to compliment a member of the Maine State Police.
