Accessibility for Visitors with Disabilities

We are working hard to make state parks and state historic sites more accessible to people with disabilities. We are also working to provide clear information about accessibility at these areas.

View our guide to accessibility at state parks, state historic sites, and public reserved lands and a description of the accessible facilities.

Search Parks and Lands DatabaseYou can also visit the search page and find a specific state park, state historic site, or public reserved land. Then click on "Accessibility for Disabled." There, you will see details about the extent and level of access at that park or site. (Public reserved lands, which have mainly remote, primitive recreational opportunities, have very few accessible facilities. You will find the largest number of accessible facilities at state parks and state historic sites.)

We plan to continually up-date our web site in order to give you the best information possible. We will be making access improvements continuously, so keep checking to get the latest information.
