Drainage on Local Roads
Date: May 14, 2014
Time: 8:00 AM
Contact: Jerry Douglass, 207-624-3290
This program consists of a wide variety of major topics all relating to basic road drainage.
Paying attention to some common sense drainage rules will greatly extend the life of your local roads and ultimately cut maintenance costs. On many local roads, it is painfully obvious that thousands of dollars in potential repair work may be avoided by following some simple rules. Attention to details and a few more dollars spent on ditch work, culvert installation and shoulder work can pay off immediately, especially during periods of intense runoff, such as spring thaw, hurricanes, thunderstorms, etc.
