Rumford Falls Hydro, LLC Water Quality Certification

On August 22, 2023, Rumford Falls Hydro LLC submitted an application for a Water Quality Certification (WQC) pursuant to Section 401 of the Clean Water Act, 33 U.S.C. 1251 et. seq. for the federal relicensing and continued operation of the Rumford Falls Hydroelectric Project (Project). The current WQC was issued on December 7, 1992 (#L-17643-33-A-N). Federal regulations require the Department to act on this application within one year, by August 21, 2024.
Please submit any additional Project-related documents or previous FERC filings that should be included in the Department's record.
