There are also a number of adaptive sports programs available to veterans in Maine.  The Veterans Adaptive Sports & Training (VAST) program at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester offers year-round skiing, hunting, basketball, and archery, among others.

Maine Adaptive Sports offers summer (fishing, hiking, cycling) and winter (alpine skiing, snowboarding, snowmobile tours) programs for veterans and their families.  Both the summer and winter programs include all equipment, instruction, lodging and food.

The Adaptive Sports program at Togus also offers a range of year-round programs, such as ice fishing, air rifle, orienteering and sled hockey.
