The pandemic has dramatically illustrated the need for accessible and efficient State government services and programs that can be managed online or delivered through remote programs.
With funding from the Maine Jobs & Recovery Plan, Maine's Department of Administrative and Financial Services will modernize state technology and digital service delivery for Maine citizens, businesses, and public employees. It will enable Mainers to more seamlessly interact with and receive services across state government with fewer in-person transactions and simpler navigation of complex state agency processes.
Investments will modernize state technology assets, increase the effectiveness of remote work for state employees, and help the state move away from aging legacy technology systems that do not meet current or future needs.
