Improve Contract Management and Equity Data

This investment expands capacity at Maine's Department of Health and Human Services to review social services contracts and supporting documentation, helping to improve the timely processing of contracts and amendments for critical public health and safety net programs. It also provides funding to improve data collection to support efforts to advance opportunities and reduce structural economic and workforce barriers for individuals of diverse backgrounds, cultures, races, genders and religions, as well as to reduce barriers for diverse businesses and nonprofits.
