Look carefully and signal before changing lanes

Drivers changing lanes without carefully checking traffic, or without signaling, are a significant contributor to traffic accidents. Check for oncoming traffic, or for drivers passing you. Then put on your signal, and change lanes safely.

Develop a pet care plan in case of disaster.
Make photocopies of all vaccination records and put them in your disaster supplies kit. If you do not have these, get them from your veterinarian.
Put an extra animal harness or leash, with identification tags, in your disaster kit.
